«I will consider “Barcelona – Opera rock” – Maestro Roberto Molinelli has said – the happily successful attempt by Freddie Mercury to walk another rock icon that he represented at that time, involving an icon of lyrical music at his turn Montserrat Caballé in a unique project of its kind; I am very happy that I have been the first to carry it around Italy with the Orchestra della Magna Grecia and two soloists of the eccezione: it is a project that has never been better orchestrated all together and, soprattutto, has never been better represented by live; but not only “Barcelona”, in the program also the Queen’s songs that have not been celebrated by a group that we all love ».
First part of the musical program reserved ai titoli di “Barcelona”: Ouverture picante, Ensueno, The fallen priest, The golden boy, La japonaise, Guide me home & How can I go on, Barcelona, Too much love will kill you (solo orchestra ); a siguire Queen greatest hits: Innuendo, I want it all, Don’t stop me now, We are the campions, Somebody to love, Love of my life, We will rock you, Bohemian rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, The show must go on.
