Libri: a Castelvetrano il PalmosaFest, tra letteratura e arte – Sicily

(ANSA) – PALERMO, 23 OTT – Dopo the inauguration with the writer Catena Fiorello, who has presented her latest book I Cannoli di Marites, edited by Giunti. Catena Fiorello, continues in late December to Castelvtrano il PalmosaFest, first festival of Art and Literature. Il Progetto foresees, inside the Collegiata dei Santi Pietro e Paolo, in the historical heart of Castelvetrano, in the Sistema delle Piazze, a cycle of incontri letterari with nomi prestige in the world of contemporary poetry and narrative, with musical interventions and simultaneous shows of art, collective and personal, of artists of national respite. The cultural director of the project is assigned to Bia Cusumano, artistic quella to the art critic Tanino Bonifacio. The Palmosafest was born from the intense collaboration between the Proloco di Selinunte Castelvetrano, its President and PierVincenzo Filardo, the Communal Administration and the Archaeological Park of Selinunte, Cave di Cusa and Pantelleria, directly from Felice Crescente.
The program of the PalmosaFest foresees on Sunday, October 23 at 6:00 p.m., the presentation of the book by the Marsalese newspaper writer and poet Angelo Barraco, author of the text Caos edited by Bertoni Editore. Saranno presenti Pippo Di Falco and Salvatore Picone di CasaSciascia, twinned with Rassegna, nonché Jana Cardinale, godmother of the Festival, who illustrerà il progetto letterario. If it continues on October 29 at 6:00 p.m. with Raffaele Manduca, university professor, historian and poet from Catania, author of the text Restò solo voce, NullaDie Edizioni. On November 5 at 6:00 p.m., the journalist and writer Gaetano Savatteri will host the text “Le Siciliane” edited by Laterza. On November 12 at 6:00 p.m., the return of the poetess of Santa Margherita di Belìce, Gabriella Vicari with the text A piedi nudi edited by Swanbook. On November 19 at 6:00 p.m., Licia Cardillo Di Prima will present her latest romance L’odore della nebbia published by Flaccovio Editore. On December 3 at 6:00 p.m., the poetic silloge La Goccia Preziosa by the poet and writer Filippo Minacapilli. On December 10, at 6:00 p.m., Felice Cavallaro, a journalist originally from Agrigentine, ormai resident in Palermo, will present her latest book Francesca, un amor al tempi di guerra, edited by Solferino Editore. On that occasion, the magistrate Alfredo Morvillo, fratello di Francesca Morvillo, will be present.
During the presentation, the music video will be shown Buona sera, Signori, by Serena Sciuto, singer and artist prematurely shared, whose memory is dedicated to the entire Festival. Il Festival si chiuderà giorno 17 decembre alle 18.00 with Franco Arminio, poet and paesologist of national fame who presents his latest book entitled “Studi sull’amore” edited by Einaudi. (ANSA).
